Sound Splitter 23.02 is now available.

IMPORTANT: this is the second to last planned add-on release. I (Joseph Lee) am looking for maintainers for this add-on.

Changelog:

  • NVDA 2022.4 or later is required.
  • Windows 10 21H2 (November 2021 Update/build 19044) or later is required.

Hi all,

Sound Splitter 23.01 is now available.

Changelog:

  • NVDA 2022.3 or later is required.
  • Windows 10 or later is required as Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 are no longer supported by Microsoft as of January 2023.
  • Updated psutil dependency to 5.9.4.

Hi all,

Sound Splitter 22.03 is now available. This is a mandatory security update.

Changelog:

  • NVDA 2021.3 or later is required due to security.
  • To improve security, the add-on will be disabled completely if NVDA is running in secure screns.
  • Updated psutil dependency to 5.9.0.
  • Changed sound splitter toggle command (Alt+NVDA+S) to toggle between NVDA on the right channel, on the left channel, or sound splitter disabled.
