Yea this is a somewhat known issue. We'll try if we can make the plastic a bit thinner (both at the bottom and the top) without making the part too weak. The 'real' solution would be to get a proper sheet metal one made, we'll look into this for the post-beta versions. The LEDs should be easy to fix by making the openings bigger, and the text could be done for example by filling the debossed text with paint, though that would add a manual step. Maybe the label upgrade can wait till we do sheet metal? |
I think the best solution for the LEDs and labeling could potentially be a sticker: labeling fix is obvious and then the sticker could go over the LED openings and act as a diffusor? Maybe dumb I dunno. |
Or even somehow make the openings for the LEDs optically continuous with the space around the MMCX connectors so there is a right of light around the connector when its plugged in. That would be nice. |
