  • RGB LEDs are not really visible on most computers
  • Users report that that part that the screw fits into is too thick for most computers
  • The labels are very difficult to read

I had a very hard time to fit it into my computer case. As Jon mentioned, the short part where the screw go is too thick, but mine was also a bit too tall. There was a gap between the bracket and the case. It's easier to draw:

The labels were not an issue (easy enough to read).

Yea this is a somewhat known issue. We'll try if we can make the plastic a bit thinner (both at the bottom and the top) without making the part too weak. The 'real' solution would be to get a proper sheet metal one made, we'll look into this for the post-beta versions. The LEDs should be easy to fix by making the openings bigger, and the text could be done for example by filling the debossed text with paint, though that would add a manual step. Maybe the label upgrade can wait till we do sheet metal?

I think the best solution for the LEDs and labeling could potentially be a sticker: labeling fix is obvious and then the sticker could go over the LED openings and act as a diffusor? Maybe dumb I dunno.

Or even somehow make the openings for the LEDs optically continuous with the space around the MMCX connectors so there is a right of light around the connector when its plugged in. That would be nice.
