Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
i am new Linux user. try install node to my machine. so i search for in my software manager, find an old version from it. so i go to the project website "https://nodejs.org/en/", download latest LTS version (tar file, it what i find in first page from website).
1- untar the "node-v12.18.4-linux-x64.tar.xz".
2- start read the "read me file" to find the installation command, but i can not find it.
3- try see if there's make file or not.
4- back to web site to find installation help (try download ribbon, Docs ribbon), but can not find it.
5- search in web, find two different way to install node.
6- search in you tube, find one method from the two i find before. but this time he not just type the command, he go to project web site and click on "Other Downloads". oh finally i under stand it continence the different method to install node.

Describe the solution you'd like
just add link in readme file to direct user to the installation method, also can put it under spread ribbon.
i know it's may look easy problem but it take alot search and time especially English not my first language.

This seems reasonable to me. Once you've done it you know what to do, but the first time I can see that it's not obvious.

@ad22ad I'm wondering why you closed this. Did you find some better doc/instructions?
