Sticky posts breaks paged layout item count

Description

Current behavior: When using a paged layout, if you have stickied a post that resides on page 2 or more, the stickied post will be simply added to the items on the first page, instead of "pushing down" each item 1 step.

Expected behavior: When stickying a post, it should move up to the first position, while pushing down all other items 1 step.

Example

Let's say you want a nice 3x3 grid, so you set "Items Per Page" to 9. If you have a stickied post, this adds a 10:th item, breaking the symmetry.
