  • see Advanced Permissons on the GF website
  • may relate to Desktop client not syncing changes #597
  • NC-Server 16.0.4.1, groupfolders 4.1.3, Debian 10.1, PHP 7.3.9 (after upgrade from NC 15.0.11 of a server established since NC 13 or earlier)
  • NC-client version 2.6.0stable (build 20190927), MacOS X / macOS Sierra 10.12.6 & Mojave 10.14.6 (both updated and fresh user environment)

This issue is currently WIP and under investigation. My sincere apologies if early assumptions were misleading.

CAVEAT:
For an established group folder with Group settings there may be unclear or competing access rights after setting the Advanced Permissions.

Please be aware of this issue before applying Advanced Permissions on group folders.
