Functionality

  • book works on Android, iOS, desktop + main browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
    • book loads (onboarding + jump to first chapter)
    • reading through two chapters works well
    • menu works, it’s possible to navigate to a different chapter

Usability

  • book is perfectly usable on
    • small screens (iPhone SE)
    • tablets (iPad)
    • weird screens (iPad mini)
    • cheap devices ($50 Android phone)
    • large screens (laptop, PC monitor)
    • old devices (5 years old phone, 10 years old computer)
  • book is readable without JS
  • book is readable without CSS
  • it’s possible to turn off custom book CSS (for accessibility)

Structure

  • book has all it’s linear content (chapters) in "reading order"
  • no other content is included in the "reading order"
