This is a more general case of problems identified in #171: we need a fully-worked example demonstrating how {neonUtilities} and {aqp} can play nicely. The only other example that I know of (https://www.neonscience.org/resources/learning-hub/tutorials/plot-cluster-megapit-soils-data) contains code that will corrupt SPC objects.
