SEO Macroscope issues

Please note that it can be very useful to provide the URL of the website or pages that you were attempting to crawl with SEO Macroscope. This will greatly aid the debugging process.

To aid debugging, it may be necessary to scan a sample of pages of any given URL.

Expected behavior:

Save all pages session to file

Actual behavior:

Many thanks for reporting this @yardstudio, I'll investigate and see if I can reproduce this fault.

Please note that the session saving feature is experimental.

Hi Jason (@nazuke),

I got the same "The internal array cannot expand" error as @yardstudio, also on Windows 7/ 64-bit. The SEOMacroScope application was showing as "(Not Responding)" in Task Manager when it was trying to save the session file.

The website that I was scanning was https://servenomaster.com/ (4,911 URLs crawled). The session file was initially opened at 22:43 but was not closed until 00:51 as seen in this screen shot:

Explorer-view-of-session-file

I don't know how long the application was "hung", but it certainly was not responding for a considerable length of time. I was going to kill the process, but when I saw that something was being written to the session file, I left the application continue. When I came back to it this morning, it was showing the "cannot expand" error.

At the initial "hang" state yesterday evening, I was able to capture the following "WhatisJHang" (http://www.norsoft.net) information.

SEOMacroScope-Hang.txt

Perhaps it might give a pointer to where the issue might lie?

Kind Regards,
Liam
