I have got two slides working but I cannot format the text in the way that I want. I can select the font, or center or bold. The editor appears to be very basic, unlike my other WP site editors.
Subtitle doesn't appear to do anything.
Should I be using posts or portfolio?
There is a band at the bottom 1/3 Rd of each slide that is unused, why?
@mrcage has a branch available at https://github.com/mrcage/wpds which provides a lot more functionality and he's been actively updating it. I would recommend checking it out over sticking with the original revision.
To answer your question as well; this was simply meant to be a proof of concept (boilerplate if you will). You can install the theme and then use Appearance > Widgets to add the three bottom widgets. Once complete slides can be added via the Slides section. Finally, Appearance > Customize is used for most of the basic changes. Further implementations must be done via CSS / PHP editing.
