Quadrant collects usage and performance telemetry and crash logs in order to improve. No user content such as the functions you create or personally identifiable information like name or email is collected and you can always turn off telemetry using the toggle switch found under "..." > About > Privacy in the app.
Example data collection and use:
- App launch and rendering performance statistics are collected to discover and diagnose performance problems.
- Command usage, such as function creation, changing scale, and printing is collected to understand how the app is being used so it can improved based on your needs.
- Function input and parse results are used to determine if the function parser is working correctly.
- Crash logs are used to find and fix crashes.
All data is collected and stored securely using Microsoft's Visual Studio App Center service. Microsoft's privacy policy may be found here. Information is not shared with any other third party.
