Currently, if there is an error in the code of a node, the node appears to shutdown and isn't responsive to any changes e.g. adding or deleting controls. If there is an error in the code, the line in question should show up in a bold red to make it obvious:
a) that the node isn't responsive because there's a bug, and
b) where the bug is causing an issue.
