Unfortunately some of the clients I deployed to testers started encountering something that seems like corrupted Olm sessions, as the clients are no longer able to decrypt incoming messages with the reason BAD_MESSAGE_MAC.

Is there a recommended way to debug why did the chains go out of sync? Is there any way I can tell at which position a chain is on the conversation partners' devices?

And here I was, thinking 'matrix' was a mature application with support :(. This was asked in 2017 and has zero comments??? Does matrix have no developers?
