Bug: Language names that contain special characters are not being displayed as is in .md files

Description: Language names such as Volapük are being displayed as Volap\xFCk in their corresponding .md files. volapuk.md

Expected behavior: They should be displayed with their special characters (e.g. Volapük).

I had the same issue with machinetranslate.org/moore. It should be spelled "Mooré", but I had to change it to "Moore", a secondary spelling, because I had the same issue.
If fixed, we can change it back!
