For a beginner it is not obvious how to zoom. What would help:

  • add buttons zoom in, zoom out, home (initial size)
  • add a help entry in the menu that explains the key and mouse bindings

I'm not sure I really want buttons for zoom in/zoom out since:

  • I'm trying to minimize screen waste, and maximize plot size.
  • I don't particularly like how those buttons work out in PyPlot/matplotlib.

That said, I do like the idea of having a help window to explain the mouse/key bindings.
...I just don't see me working on it for a little while.

I will keep it on my list of things to do, though. It is a good idea.

Thanks.

You write: "I'm trying to minimize screen waste, and maximize plot size."
Well, they could be optional, default: off
