OpenSCN - Open Scientific Collaboration Network

Blockchain

Currently, this project makes use of the Truffle Suite to create a blockchain network for development and testing purposes.

Database

• Centralization: Use IPFS as the main database to store the content.

• Privacy: An alternative to avoid storing the content as plain text is to use GPG cryptography. By means of GPG, the content can be encrypted using multiple public keys, restricting the access only for those directly involved in the writing/reviewing process.
