to work properly a version info is needed in the plugin dll, see also the comment with plugins with missing version infos at
notepad-plus-plus/nppPluginList#24

Something similar to:
https://github.com/npp-plugins/plugintemplate/blob/master/src/NppPluginDemo.rc#L42-L49 would be needed.
