I don't know if this any of this is planned, but:

How about nested resources?

resources :magazines do
  resources :ads
end

How about ability to add custom methods to resourceful controllers:

resources :photos do
  member do
    get 'preview'
  end
end

I've quoted rails here. Hope that's okay. I'm sorry if these features are already here - I just didn't find them in the code or docs. I'd be happy to help with implementation.

It covers these concepts but in a different way. Still, it has some valid ideas. I think it can be used as an inspiration.

Is there a possibility when using this feature, to be able to use the 'AdController' both as nested and as a standalone controller? How would the methods look like?

Lately, I have upgraded my website from L 4.2.11 to the latest one. The Encryption cipher used before was MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_128 which uses an IV with a length of 32.
