How to change poll interval after installation

I‘ve installed the integration on my new Nuki 4.0 Pro lock and it‘s working fine now.
During installation I have set the poll interval 30 seconds (default). Now I found out that this is too long, as many door open/close actions are not detected (if the door is closed in less than 30 sec, which is very often the case).

Is there a way to modify the poll rate without removing and re-installing the integration?
Could this be problematic regarding battery life of the lock?
