Basically, this would be the opposite of --auronly: it makes Packer only apply to the main pacman packages. I like using packer's search+install functionality to install packages, but I don't like being spammed by 500 AUR packages when I'm looking for something in [extra].

We have got pacman for that, don't we?

Pacman doesn't search the core repositories for packages with descriptions that include a given keyword and present them in a numbered menu.
