Caching issues after recent update...

Recently upgraded from version 7.0.0 to 11.16.0.

If a client had previously used the version 7.0.0 site, links to new 11.16.0 site do not work, the page loads but secrets cannot be read until the client clears browser cache/site data, or shift+f5, or ctrl+shift+r.

Is there any way to help remediate this issue server-side?
