Jetty Version
11.0.x

Jetty Environment
N/A

Java Version
JDK 17

Question
Until when can we expect security patches for Jetty Version 11? Is there any official resource or page outlining the support timeline that you could share? This information is crucial for our planning and decision making.

we recommend using Jetty 10 or 11 as they represent the version of Jetty that we will actively maintain and improve over the next few years"

According to the above statement found in this link, we should stick to version 10/11, but there is no clarity on regards to EOL of such versions.

Any hint on this will be appreciated
Thanks

Jetty 10 and Jetty 11 are now at End of Community Support.

You should be using Jetty 12 at this point in time.
For more information see the announcement of End of Community Support.

Hi @joakime
Based on the information provided, my understanding is that security patches and critical fixes for Jetty 11 are expected to be available until January 2025, which marks the End-of-Life (EoL) date. EoL is yet to be defined apparently.

Thanks for the prompt response.
