I just ran bundle update and that updated intercom-rails to 0.4.0. I have no idea what's new since 0.3.8 and if there are any breaking changes (since you don't have major version, which I'd suggest you add).

Please at least add HISTORY.md or CHANGELOG.md or MIGRATION_GUIDE.md or whatever else, so that I'm more confident that I can update and get the latest magic from your gem. Thanks!
