Help you scan books with brother printer
This is my old script when i work with book duplication for my students in misykatul atsar.

- scanimage http://www.linuxdevcenter.com/pub/a/linux/2000/07/18/LivingLinux.html
and of course, you have brother scan driver configured properly.
this script just depend on scanimage's SANE package. Once you have installed it, you can just running it with python2 scan_helper.py
