Hi,

Could it be possible to move the plugin' settings section to the VCS configuration section ? Because it concerns the VCS ignore files, I think it more logic to put the settings in the VCS section than putting it in the others settings section because is a part of the VCS system.

Moreover, it could be useful and logic to define that the option to create a specific file type depend of the VCS enabled for the project. For example, it's not logic to offer the possibility to create a .hgignore in a git project.

And a last thing : could it be possible to rename the plugin with a shorter name ? The list of supported files is a little bit long... :p

Hi @FTC56

Moving settings to VCS group is a good idea.

Next issue - hgignore in git project - I know that it's not complex right now and I'll think about it soon.

About the name - indeed it's not a good name (however suggest what it does hehe). If anyone will have a suggestion of new name - we can rename it.

Thanks for your post !

Thank you for the 2 firsts issues.

Something like "VCS ignorer" or ".ignore" or "VCS Files .ignore" could be better, right ?

Hi,

I up the issue to know if you plan to move the section or not ?

I tried to find where it's defined, but I absolutely don't know how it's work (even if I try to learn how writing IDEA plugins xD ). Can you tell me where it is ?

Sincerely,
