As far as I can see, there's only the colorcode on the resistor that tells us the value.
As it's just a simple pullup, you can use any value between 1k ohm and 10k ohm. I'm using 10k ohm and it works fine. Maybe better add the value of the resistor in the text if somebody has no strong electrical background ;)

I think you can also adjust the 'switch' variable in the script so that the internal pullup resistor is used.
...not yet tested !

The internal pull up / down resistors have a value of approximately 50KΩ on the Raspberry Pi.
