This repository contains the notebooks needed for the hands-on session "Recommender Systems in the Media Industry - Relevance, Recency, Popularity, and Diversity" at the ACM Summer School on Recommender Systems.

Pre-requirements

• This repo relies heavily on textacy, see requirements.txt.
  • Please set up a virtual environment and/or pip install textacy.
• We have pre-generated an enwikinews textacy.Corpus, download it here: Dropbox (~118MB), and save it to ./data/enwikinews/.
