I look around here sometimes to see if this project gets updates anymore but it seems to be abandoned yes.

There are forks I believe of this repo by others that have fixes included so please check those if you would like to continue to use this method / script.

However I suggest that people move to https://github.com/rseichter/fangfrisch.

This script will of course for the most part continue to function but I don't expect that fixes will be included in this version of the repo anymore.

I migrated to fangfrisch for a year now and I'm happy about how it functions and gets updates.

I guess probably because this has other functionalities too (see README and master.conf; things like rsync and gpg verifying and removing problematic signatures etc) and safeguards against being banned for hammering (different backout periods for different DBs), and automatically adding/removing new DBs instead of one having to follow the news and manually adding/updating them all the time (well, at least it did that last point while it was being maintained...)

Anyway, for those not yet willing to convert to fangfrisch, I've merged all the
forks that have been active in last two year and some PRs here: https://github.com/mnalis/clamav-unofficial-sigs/

I'm not willing to pick up maintenance of it or add new features (as I'll probably transition to fangfrisch eventually too), but hopefully it can serve as a temporary solution for most problematic bugs present in this abandoned repository - as it does for me.
