Request: deep linking/URIs

I'm looking to support a use case for SafeMarket: affiliate commisions. The idea is that when a user clicks a link on their internet browser (chrome/firefox), Mist pops open and directs the user to the relevant page with an embedded affiliate code.

Is this feature possible/on the roadmap?

Directing BIP 20 styled "ethereum:ETH_ADDRESS&amount=ETH_AMOUNT" payment linking to Mist would also be great to use in a feature like this, on top of the above-mentioned dapp linking. Links like I have here would then open in Mist when you click them in a web page: https://www.dragonfrugal.com/billing/send.payment.php

@alexvandesande useful eip, but not entirely related. I'm looking for a way to send users to a specific screen on my dapp, not approve a transaction.
