The desktop edition can currently only run on windows. However, the application should be multi-platform as long as we add the configuration and installers for each supported platform.

Notes:

  • The commands in Src\WitsmlExplorer.Desktop\package.json is already configured to build the application for the platform it is running on.
  • The github workflow needs to be configured for other platforms (but can use nearly the same commands due to the point above).
  • Src\WitsmlExplorer.Desktop\electron-builder.json needs to be configured with installers for other platforms.
