url images in css causing issues

I assume I don't need to provide details since you have these flagged as a TODO item in your scss file - easiest way to handle this is probably to just copy the images over to the dist folder with the webpack build via https://github.com/kevlened/copy-webpack-plugin

other possibility is to use inline svg via data uris: https://css-tricks.com/probably-dont-base64-svg/

also running into some style issues with foxtrot - will submit a fix when I get an opportunity
