It seems that the index.json is non-exist or is possibly corrupted. This prevents me from adding EmyChess as a Community Repository in the Creator Companion, so I have to use manual releases instead.

Is this something you have been made aware of or have been dealing with lately?

I'm also proposing that you create a brand new Template Listing in a separate GitHub Listing. If you do this, I think it would make it a bit easier for you to manage since the Webpage doesn't have to sit in the same Repository as the same package. I've done the same on my side, using one for just the VPM Listing and another as the Package Source. I just add new releases to the source.json on my VPM Listing manually anytime I do a new release.

This is something I've been trying to figure out, for some reason the webpage gets generated but it doesn't fill in the template data, and there is no index.json. I look into this issue every now and then but so far I haven't figured out what is causing it, or how to fix it. I would prefer to keep it as a single repository though, much easier to manage!

Looking at the repository, it's most likely because of some Workflow and Website files either modified or deleted. From my perspective, it seems some files are indeed missing in your Repository. Things such as the app.js and the style.css in the ./Website folder, both very important files.

I can inspect it from my side and do some comparisons, see if I can make any repairs to it. If I figure something out, I'll open a separate PR repairing your Repository.
