Description

In Riot (0.17.8) the device verification dialogue (both when sending a message to an encrypted room with new unverified devices as well as the users' device verification dialogue) doesn't update to show devices which I already verified in this dialogue session. I have to close and reopen.

Steps to reproduce

  • Have a room with E2E enabled
  • Have new people and/or new devices show up
  • Try to send a new message to that room
  • You'll get a "there are unverified devices" dialogue
  • Choose "verify"
  • Do some verification:
  • After verifiying the first device, the UI doesn't reflect your right-this-moment completed verification

This is still present in the current staging environment. (1.0-rc2)
It happens independent of the verification mode used (legacy and non-legacy)
