Metaspaces tend to disappear from sidebar

Steps to reproduce

1. Enable meta spaces in settings Home, Favourites, People etc.
2. Refresh/reload the page. (Not sure if this is the exact trigger)
3. See that meta spaces gone from sidebar:

They all come back if any one of the settings is toggled again but are again gone on next page load (refresh/reload).

I don't see any error on console. Logs sent.

See the selected metaspaces in the sidebar
