We decided to not support the visualization:colorMapping advanced setting in Lens palettes and phase out support for it in the long term.

To make sure the setting doesn't confuse users stumbling over it the advanced setting menu, it should be officially deprecated with a note about supported features in the description of the advanced setting and docs (right now it's respected by grouped TSVB series and Visualize xy and pie chart types)
