Error in System Status and System Update pages

When navigating to System Status or System Update pages you get the following error:

CAUSE

Issue is caused by Lucee no longer trusting the Acme CA that the update server uses and the system gets back an invalid HTTP response it doesn't recognize (HTTP status 0).

FIX

Upgrading to Lucee 5.3.5x fixes the issue. Please follow the instructions below to remove the old version of Lucee and migrate to Commandbox (for affected systems) or upgrade existing Commadbox systems to Lucee 5.3.5. The patch will is able to take the appropriate action based on your system configuration.

Ensure you have a full valid backup of your Hermes SEG before running the script, ensure you run the script as root and ensure your Hermes SEG has access to the Internet since the patch needs to download various files and packages.

Download the patch

Run the patch

bash hermes_upgrade_lucee.sh

Follow the prompts to install the patch. Please note that the patch will generate a random 20 character password for your Lucee Admin and Lucee Web. Ensure you copy and save this password for future use if necessary.

When finished, reboot your computer. If you have any questions or issues post them below.
