" I386-AROS When I do a printf(), there is no shell window opened. The printf() is not shown. On x86_64 a shell windows is opened and the printf text is shown there."

It needs to be first decided which behavior is correct one. Then both codelines should have the same behavior.

"On the Amiga always a shell windows is opened, so I would vote for such a window 😉 And it is handy for error messages and debugging."
