False positive interm -> intern, interim, for intermission, intermediate? #1033

Canbus related stuff in the Linux kernel and UAPI has the symbol CAN_ERR_PROT_LOC_INTERM,
where 'interm' is short for intermission (and other code has it as short for 'intermediate'?),
and not a typo of 'intern' or 'interim'.

A few possible solutions:

  • Close this as won't fix, for documentation purposes. Let people ignore it per project, maybe with the complete symbol.
  • Add 'intermission' and 'intermediate' as corrections to the current list. However, these are not really typo corrections, and therefore don't really fit in.
  • Add it to the exceptions. However, 'interm' does seem a likely typo of 'intern'.

Industry-specific abbreviations are a tough call to make on when to include them. We don't yet have a clear idea of what that bar should be.
