permission to use graphics

Due to the confusing alert in the README, is ok to use these graphics for presentations given proper attribution for each piece? Or?

There was once a problem when someone assumed that a graphic was somehow the "official" graphic of an organization, whereas nearly everything here is just a throwaway sketch without any such status. So the alert is effectively to remind people to check the "status" of an image with possibly interested parties before using it.
