Step 1
On VScode terminal navigate to directory AWSLabs and run command git pull https://github.com/awscloudessentials/intro-to-aws-lab.git
Open the new file(Lab10) in the editor, to allow you add steps you took to complete the lab.
Step 2 (Creating AWS programmatic access credentials)---Ignore if you already have AWS programmatic credentials
Click on your account name on the top right of your AWS account.
Scroll down and click on Security credentials
Scroll down to "Create access key"
Download the newly created .csv file into your local system and save.
Step 3 (AWS Cli Install)--Ignore if you already have AWSCli installed on your local machine
Open a WSL terminal on VS Code,and run the following commands
curl "https://awscli.amazonaws.com/awscli-exe-linux-x86_64.zip" -o "awscliv2.zip"
then,
sudo apt install unzip
then,
unzip awscliv2.zip
then,
sudo ./aws/install
then,
aws --version

To set up a default profile, run the commands below
aws configure
(input the AWS Access Key ID,AWS Secret Access Key inside the .csv file downloaded in step 2)
for Default region name(input us-east-1) or any other region you normal work with
for Default output format(input json or yaml)

Step 4 (Verification of profile setup)
On the terminal run command
aws s3 ls
then go to your AWS s3 dashboard and create a bucket
then run the command above again.

Once confirmed, kindly clean up your AWS account.Delete your bucket ONLY .
Edit the file in VSCode editor, save and push to your personal remote repo.
