Possible anti-virus quarantine? Some A/V software quarantines Cmder.exe as a false positive.

I only have window defender and no other anti-virus software. window defender does not have record of blocking cmder, and I have tried add cmder folder as exception. It does not work.

Where is the Cmder folder? We recommend it be in your home/userprofile folder?

What version of Windows? Is it x86 or arm? Cmder only supports x86.

I am using Windows 11, which supports both x86 and x64 apps

@tavik000 You checked "I am certain my issues are not related to ConEmu, Clink, or other third-party tools that Cmder uses."

Did you install and run ConEmu?

This thing is called mark of the web, here's more information:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_of_the_Web
https://conemu.github.io/en/ZoneId.html

Thanks for reporting this issue. We may implement a "detection" and "removing" mechanism in our launcher, the same as what ConEmu does.
