Add an “Area” data-type into CAMARA_common.yaml

Problem description
Commonalities started the discussion of adding an Area Data-Type into CAMARA_common.yaml, in Issue #242.
A couple of potential modifications and extensions are identified. Please provide your views on the issue.

Early feedback from the group: aligned on having a common definition of the Area types, as long as granular support of the different types allows each API group to selecto those that apply to each API.
