The mute sync hasn't worked since the Google Chrome update on June 12, 2024

As the title says, my mute sync hasn't been working for the past week. I tried removing permissions to my Jabra device and reconnecting it, but it still doesn't work. When I click the extension, it shows no device connected, and when I try to connect, it shows my Jabra device as already paired. Let me know if you need any more details, thanks!

Jabra appears to have been improving their browser support. In the past, the extension caused a conflict with Edge and now I see the same thing with Arc (all Mac). Try disabling this extension to see if it works OOB.

@jcthomsonjr , thanks for figuring this out. Disabling the extension corrects the issues and the syncing now works OOB.

@balansse it looks like Chrome now supports these features OOB. Thanks for putting this extension together for all of us for all these years!

To add here, strange thing for me happened and also to Martin Schmidt who did recently a bad Chrome Web Store Review because of this. It seems that the Busy Light and Call Control is not working until you install your extension, reboot and uninstall it. After you uninstall, it is working as expected...WTF. I cannot explain that to me. So to be clear:

1. Initially, both Busy Light and Call Control (e.g. Mute sync) is not working
2. I install the Chrome Extension and set the HID permission. --> still nothing works
3. I reboot --> still nothing works
4. I remove the Extension --> it works 🎉
