Summary

Thuli discussed upcoming conferences, including:
The London conference from September 18-19, with the agenda already announced and speakers confirmed. Ticket information will be shared on Slack.
The CFP (Call for Proposals) for the Paris conference is now open, with a deadline of September 12th. Thuli encouraged participants to submit their proposals.
The team is working on implementing the CFP page for an online conference, and once ready, they will announce the details and open submissions.

Community Updates

Thuli shared a new case study from HDI that has been published on the website and encouraged participants to subscribe to the newsletter for more details. Thuli also noted that they have a limited budget to sponsor travel for community members to attend the Paris conference and can only cover a portion of the expenses.

Next Community Meeting

The next community meeting is scheduled for August 20th at 4 pm UTC. Thuli expects to have more updates to share at that time, and encouraged participants to reach out on Slack if they have any questions in the meantime.
