Nikhil’s VS Code Extension Update(GSoC)

Nikhil presented his latest work on enhancing the VS Code extension for AsyncAPI specifications. The update includes a new preview feature with three tabs:
Markdown
Flow Chart
Class Diagram
These tabs offer different visual representations of the API structure and relationships.

Google Summer of Code Program Update
Ace provided an update on the Wisdom of Code mentorship program. He mentioned that the first evaluation for participants is in progress and praised all participants for their outstanding performance. He also extended his gratitude to the mentors for their invaluable support.

Online Conference Planning
Bami and Thulie discussed plans for the upcoming online conference. Key points included:
The deadline for the London CFP is this week.
The initiation of issue creation to track website development work.
The exploration of digital badges to recognize and reward community contributors.

Upcoming API Conference in Nigeria
Bami and Ace discussed Ace’s potential involvement as a community partner at an upcoming API conference in Nigeria. This includes the possibility of Ace delivering a lightning talk and engaging with attendees.

Next Steps
Ace concluded the meeting by thanking everyone for their participation. He announced that the next community meeting would be in two weeks and encouraged participants to reach out with any additional questions or topics for discussion.
