I have been using openwhisk for two years, but I still don't know what the mechanism of OpenWhisk function memory overflow is, will it print memory overflow prompts in the log? Or is it a development error to simply kill the container executing the function?

OpenWhisk does not have a mechanism to detect memory overflows in functions. If a function consumes too much memory, it will simply crash and its container will be killed. There is no way to recover from this error, and you will need to restart the container.
