@amitness I tried to test the '.crx' file if it's compatible with Firefox (Ref: https://www.extensiontest.com/test/2b91d190-78c1-11eb-bdcb-cb91ec5fe057) and later installed the extension on Firefox. It worked completely fine. Let me know if there's anything that needs to be added to the manifest file.
I was thinking to add "browser_specific_settings" in the manifest file.
