The book I bought
e:obj(bought, book)

Should be obj if unmarked, or obl if there is a promoted obl ADP in the relative clause, but cave:

"the day the music died", or "last time I saw her"

which should be obl:tmod (noted by Dag Haug)

just wondering: if this were a language with a resumptive, would you still have this edge? (e.g. "the book I bought it)

I would expect yes, since edeps represent structure sharing. I mean, if the relative pronoun is actually there, you are also supposed to have two edges.
