Description

While using browse mode and testing which navigation menu is shown, I selected a page that then, upon going back, suddenly caused the navigation menu shown to change. It seems to happen when a page link goes to a 404 page and then you try to go back to the main navigation.

I'm not sure if this will be addressed by: #48689

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Ensure you have a menu that has links to a 404 page and another menu that has links that work.
  2. Open browse mode > navigation.
  3. Navigate to the page that 404s.
  4. Notice that if you go back, the menu changes from what's shown before in browse mode.

I can no longer replicate this with GB 15.8 RC1 so I'm going to close for now.
