Hello @JonathanSamelson and everyone,

It's been a while, and I hope you've been doing well.

I am going to renovate this toolbox, and of course, I will try to keep the same input parameters and the same outputs as the current one. Anyway, something might need to be changed.

There are several things I want to do:

  1. Add support for YAML config files
  2. Shorten/Improve the import mechanism
  3. Improve the detector by migrating to Ultralytics base detector as it supports YOLO v3 to v9 (Pytorch based .pt)
  4. Remove the classic YOLO .weights detector which uses OpenCV DNN completely / Or keep it - I think it's ok to keep it
  5. Clean and reset repository because @JonathanSamelson and I made some bad decisions like placing Python wheel .whl inside the repo, etc. These big files will be placed somewhere like in the releases or a separated repo like APTITUDE-Toolbox-Data (If it is the case, @Trusted-AI-Labs must create that separated repo for us)
  6. Add some GitHub workflows for testing
  7. Publish on PyPI. Name will be decided.. maybe aptitudebox? Does @Trusted-AI-Labs have a PyPI account or token?
