when I run "python3 extractor.py" I get this "Extracting... No audio files in Reconstruction Lecture copy.pptx" . But there is audio from the powerpoint. All I get is a ppt folder with a media folder with a bunch of media1.m4a media2.m4a ... etc. In the wav_files its empty and the powerpoint is converted to a .zip file.

thank you for the issue, so can you confirm that the .pptx is converted in .zip and the folder ppt/media contains the audio files?

I made a try with a .pptx with some .m4a inside, it works just fine, I updated a bit the script anyway, you could try it again. I actually used the cmd to run it: try to navigate to the directory of the extractor (mine is C:\Users\tortar\Desktop\py_extractor for example) on the cmd and then use the command python extractor.py, say to me if now works :)
